Salt Lake's shape-shifting westside hall — metal and punk one night, drag spectaculars and dance parties the next.
Metro Music Hall might be the most eclectic room in Salt Lake City. The westside venue on 100 South refuses to pick a lane — its calendar swings from metal and punk tours to drag spectaculars, EDM dance parties, hip-hop shows, burlesque nights and community events, often in the same week.
That range is exactly why people love it: the hall has become a home for scenes that don't always get a big stage elsewhere, backed by solid production and a standing-room floor built for energy. Most nights are 21+, with select all-ages shows.
For the wilder side of Salt Lake City nightlife — the shows you tell people about later — keep an eye on Metro Music Hall, part of the SLC scene we cover at Events SLC.
